Education

B.A. in Sociology (2009) from Antioch University Los Angeles
M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2015) from Lenoir-Rhyne University

I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults in a variety of settings, including private practice, residential and outpatient programs, therapeutic boarding schools, and hospitals. Most recently, I was the Clinical Director of a residential substance use program serving adolescents and their families.

I love my work as a therapist and truly see it as an honor to support others in the challenges they are facing. Being human can be raw, uncomfortable, and unimaginably beautiful. I believe having access to our full range of emotions brings incredible richness to our lives. Being able to work with these emotions without being swept away by them empowers us to step into our most authentic lives.

My desire to become a therapist was born out of the personal transformation I experienced in my own therapy years ago. Experiencing the depths of darkness firsthand has given me many gifts, including a deep compassion for others wherever they are along their path.

My office is located in Asheville, North Carolina. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) in the state of North Carolina. I am also approved to provide Telehealth services in the state of Florida.
